WHAT WE DO
For the Love of Animals is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Yankton South Dakota that is dedicated to spaying and neutering, rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. Our primary focus is on trap, neuter, and release feral cats. We greatly appreciate all donations to help support the cause.
OUR PROGRAMS & PROJECTS
For the Love of Animals is committed to improving the lives of animals in need through various programs and projects. Our spay and neuter program helps to control the population of feral cats and prevent the spread of disease. Our rescue and rehabilitation efforts provide medical treatment and shelter to animals in need. We also work to find loving homes for these animals through our adoption program.
Community Outreach
We believe that education and community outreach are critical to promoting animal welfare. Our community outreach program works to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and the importance of spaying and neutering.
Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation
Our rescue and rehabilitation efforts provide medical treatment and shelter to animals in need. We work to nurse sick or injured animals back to health so they can be adopted into loving homes.
Animal Welfare Advocacy
We advocate for animal welfare through lobbying efforts and public awareness campaigns. Our goal is to promote policies and practices that improve the lives of animals and prevent animal cruelty.
Feral Cat TNR
Trap, neuter, and release (TNR) is a humane and effective way to control feral cat populations. Our TNR program works to trap, spay or neuter, and vaccinate feral cats before releasing them back into their natural habitat.
Pet Adoption
We work to find loving homes for animals in need through our adoption program. Our goal is to match each animal with a loving family that will provide them with the care and attention they deserve.
Volunteer Program
Our volunteer program provides opportunities for animal lovers to get involved and make a difference. Whether it’s working directly with animals or helping with administrative tasks, we welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and skill levels.
